Built inside a working event business.

Source of Truth is a Houston, Texas company with roots in events. We built it because running our own venues meant keeping the same details in six different apps, and every time dinner moved, someone was left with the old time.

Why we built it

An event is one set of facts: the date, the room, the guest count, who arrives when, what was promised and what has been paid. In most event businesses those facts live in a CRM, a planning app, a floor-plan tool, a timeline builder, a shared drive and a long email thread, and they drift apart the moment anything changes.

Source of Truth keeps one record for each event. Your team, your clients and your vendors all read from it, each in a view made for them. Change something once and everyone who depends on it sees the change. Your margins, vendor pricing and internal notes stay with your team; they are never sent to a client’s or vendor’s screen.

Who makes it

Source of Truth was founded by Kemishia Minta, founder of The Seremoni Edit. We run every booking at our two Houston venues on it, so the tools in it are the ones we needed on a Saturday night, not the ones that looked good in a demo.

It is built for ten kinds of event business: planners, venues, florists, caterers, rental companies, photographers and videographers, DJs and entertainers, and bartending companies today, with AV & lighting and event staffing in development.
